Community Kids Mural for WTMD First Thursday Festival

Originally planned as a massive collaborative mural, we decided just days before @wtmdradio First Thursday to scale down the Mural Tile Wall and make it just for kids. With so much already happening for adults, we wanted to create a creative, calm space just for families — and it turned out to be exactly what was needed. Children painted alongside each other, neighbors, and even strangers from other cities — and at the end of the night, each kid got to take home a piece of the mural as a keepsake. A tile painted with shared joy, a memory of the WTMD 20th Anniversary, and a reminder that art connects us all.
